Schools Initiative

The LadyXsize Hoopathon fundraising initiative for schools

Fitness & Health Expert and Trainer LadyXsize aka Nana Akua has launched her new fundraising initiative for schools. LadyXsize has teamed up with various fitness providers and with the support of Richard Harrington MP, is going across the county and then the country launching this initiative to help schools raise money for internal or external causes. It is also part of LadyXsize’s campaign to reverse the upward trend of childhood obesity and to encourage children to be more active.

Abbots Langley School, Leavesden Green School and Hemel scouts are some of the organisations that have already benefited from this initiative. Please get in touch if you would like this event where you are.

This initiative comprises of three parts.

PART 1 – the first part is the workshop, which is spread across a day where LadyXsize will teach each school year how to hoop.

PART 2 – The second part is the fundraising element where the children get sponsorship to take part in the event.

PART 3 – The final part is the hoopathon a few weeks or months later. This is an hour-long event where each year will be required to hoop one year at a time. The teachers will also be encouraged to take part.

Be it raising money for school equipment or a charitable cause, this fundraising initiative is a fun way of encouraging the children to do something active whilst raising money.
